I love this card, it's one of my favorite. The Phagos card refers to old knowledge or old writing. Today we should look to the knowledge of yesterday to decide what is best to do today. If we are having issues, how would it have been handled previously. What experience can we draw from to help us make the best of what is happening today. What a great card. A day of meditation, questions of our ancestors and the spirits of those who lived before us.

The Blackthorn is known as winters tree, sometimes blooming even before the leaves begin to show. This card represents actions of fate that are out of our control. Sometimes things are going to happen regardless of what we want or what we do and we just have to work with it. Today is a day of these happenings. You can either stay positive and take what life gives you or you can fight against it. Know that fighting against these events that are out of your control are fruitless, sometimes you just have to take what life gives you and move on.
