Daily Card (Celtic Tree Oracle): Nuin - Ash

inner and outer worlds linked - Celtic Tree Calendar 5th month of March
This card refers to the Cosmic Ash or the World Tree or in Norse mythology as the Yggdrasil, Odin or Woden's tree who hung from it in order to gain enlightenment  This tree carries the winged fruits and is known to be the key to universal knowledge. Everything is connected and and today is the day to realize this. Everything you do affects the rest of the world in some where. Take care in your actions. Reflect and be sure you are in fact doing the greater good for all that is around you.

Daily Card (Celtic Tree Oracle): Gort - Ivy

The Ivy grows, spreads and flourished in many conditions - cultivated land or wasteland, in light or in near darkness, in fertile soil or on rubble and stones. It will push it's way through tiny cracks and crevices to reach the light and it is strong and difficult to destroy. Since ancient times, the Vine and the Ivy hav been regarded as enemies. If the Vine, through intoxication, releases prophetic powers, the Ivy, in contrast, puts you in touch with your own inner resources, giving you the ability to see through the eyes of th esoul beyond the everyday world.

Drawing this card refers to the spiral of self, the search for self. It is also associated with the labyrinth as it climbs the walls hiding possible differences for use to see. It also symbolized the wandering soul, circling inward and outward seeking nourishment and experiences from the outside and from within itself, to achieve finally it's goal of enlightenment.

Daily Card (Celtic Tree Oracle): Ur - Heather

Again we are looking at Heather and Mistletoe combined together in this one card signifying the links to inner self and all healing. What came to mind immediately this morning when I pulled this card is protecting ourself from the harm of others, whether the harm be intentional or otherwise. Today we are to check ourselves, learn more about ourselves, and learn how to heal ourselves from within. Take a little time today, even if it's only a few moments, and check balances. Make sure you are strong and healthy and if not, start to make the necessary changes to become so. If you find you are already there, use your own story to help others attain this ever so important goal also.

Bright blessings for a beautiful Wednesday!

Daily Card (Celtic Tree Oracle): Tinne - Holly

Daily Card (Celtic Tree Oracle): Tinne - Holly
Holly is known as the plant that is best in the fight... While during the summer when all is green and alive, it's leaves are soft and pliable, in the winter when it's the only thing left green, it's leave become hard and sharp to protect itself from browsing animals. A male plant symbolizing fatherhood and paternity, this plant has always been considered a potent life symbol ~ both for its long year foliage and it's winter fruits. This would was a popular for the  making of spear shafts.
Drawing this card today tells me that we are given the gift of balance and vigor in the fight. Today you will find extra balance and unity in your spiritual fight for whatever it is you need to do. Be careful though and always remember, harm none.

Daily Card (Celtic Tree Oracle): Ur - Heather

This card actually weals a dual meaning linking to both the Heather and the Mistletoe. Heather shows us the link from the spirit world to the fertile earth, linking us to the spirit world and mistletoe adds in an all healing component.

The mistletoe and heather combined in this card guides us closer to the spirit world and the resulting healing this path can lead to. Visit the spirit world, for healing at this time, use this time to meditate, contact ancestors, and use their powers to heal what needs healing.

I will add more very interesting info about this card at some point today, I promise. This definitely one of my favorites.. You'll love the meaning behind it.

The end in the beginning and the beginning in the end - October
This card represents birth in death and death in birth, the continuous cycle. The casting out of "the devils" of the old year and the renewal and creativity of the new.

Daily Card (Celtic Tree Oracle): Uilleand - Honeysuckle

Honeysuckle hides the truth that is within. As you look deeper into where honeysuckle grows, you find where it truly comes from, the base of the winding crawly vine that can take over and entire area or structure. Drawing this card gives you the ability to distinguish what is false from that which is real and worthwhile, allowing you to find your way to the center of the truth. It will help you to tread softly and safely staying true to your belief and to yourself. It will also help you to discover your truth without distractions meant to lead you away.

Today is a good day to learn what i true and what is superfluous. Find your true path and your true self in your current endeavors. Be safe on your journey to self-discovery.

Daily Card (Celtic Tree Oracle): Ioho - Yew

Daily Card (Celtic Tree Oracle): Ioho - Yew
Rebirth and everlasting. The Yew tree can be said to be one of the oldest trees to grow. Because of the way they grow, the branches reaching to the ground around it and starting new but linked trees. As the central trunk dies and decays, a new tree grows from within it and eventually the old is impossible to tell from the new. This is the tree of age and reincarnation. continuing from the trend in cards over the past few days, this card puts us in direct contact with our pasts. Our spiritual strength is renewed and we are now able to understand, through knowledge we already had but may have forgotten, when we need to do.

This card represents cleansing and chastity, Protection, along with being the fifth month or March on the Celtic Tree Calendar. When this card is drawn, it's a sign that today is a day to keep to oneself. Concentrate on mental rather then physical activity as a prelude to spiritual "fertilization, growth, and harvesting" for what is to soon come. If this is done properly, you will be reward with the pure white flowers of the hawthorn tree that soon turn glowing red haws in the autumn.

Daily Card (Celtic Tree Oracle): Phagos - Beech

Daily Card (Celtic Tree Oracle): Phagos - Beech
The first day of the new year will bring much learning to all as things continue to change and shift. This card tells us to look to old knowledge to understand events of today. In the next year, talk to an elder, contact your ancestors, visit an old sacred site to find understanding in the problems and issues of today or to help you make those big decisions concerning your future.
